The Aging Explorer
A young reporter went to a retirement home to interview an aged but legendary explorer. The reporter asked the old man to tell him the most frightening experience he had ever had.
The old explorer said, “Once I was hunting Bengal tigers in the jungles of India. I was on a narrow path and my faithful native gunbearer was behind me. Suddenly the largest tiger I have ever seen leaped onto the path in front of us. I turned to get my weapon only to find the native had fled. The tiger leapt toward me with a mighty ROARRRR! I soiled myself.”
The reporter said, “Under those circumstances anyone would have done the same.”
The old explorer said, “No, not then – just now when I went ROARRRR!”

Comedian Nightmare

For a comedian the biggest nightmare is getting booed off stage, or your point not getting across to the audience. which means your jokes fall flat. Tell your stories or those of your favorite comedians when you think they bombed. Me personally i have experienced one of my jokes not coming across how i would have wanted them to, however i just moved it along to the next one. I had a feeling in my heart for a split second that almost ruined me but i told myself to push threw it. A comedian named Steve Harvey spoke of a similar time when his stage time wasn’t as great as he expected but he just went threw it anyway. Quiting to a comedian is a nightmare, neva give up, you must continue.

Comedian Eddie Griffin suffered a nervous breakdown

May 06, 2009. MediaTakeOut.com just received some sad news – comedian Eddie Griffin is not well. Apparently he’s in the midst of an emotional breakdown.

What happened, you ask? Well word on the street is that Eddie found out that one of his 8 children isn’t his biologically. According to one MediaTakeOut.com reader, Eddie was performing at a comedy club in Connecticut and he broke down and started crying.

Here’s what the MediaTakeOut.com reader says went down:
Eddie started crying about how he’s not his [child’s] father. People in the audience felt bad and started giving him their drinks – which he drank.

He ended up getting so drunk that he couldn’t perform and they kicked everyone out the club. I heard he got violent backstage and they had to call the cops.

He looked real bad.

Dang … hope he gets better …

Ben Stiller visits Nigeria

Ben Stiller may be fathering little Fockers, and planning more nights at the museum, but he’s also planning to spend just as much time behind the camera. According to Variety, Stiller is set to put his his directorial duties to use on a new comedy called “Help Me Spread Goodness.”

“Goodness” is all about a Chicago banking man who falls for a Nigerian Internet scam. While the film will take a humorous angle, it won’t be as silly as Tracy Morgan’s scam story.

Instead, “Goodness” aims to shed light on the troubled political and economic situation in Nigeria that has led to such a prolific scamming industry. The film is being produced by Participant Media, a studio that mandates its films carry a message of social change and awareness.

The film may not be the next on Stiller’s slate, as he’s also attached to Aaron Sorkin’s “The Trial of the Chicago 7.” It was rumored last fall that Stiller was going to replace Steven Spielberg, but the gig has apparently become official. But given how long “Chicago 7″ has been delayed (it was set to begin shooting last spring in order to be in theaters for the 2008 election), “Goodness” could beat it to the production punch. Given that Stiller hasn’t directed a drama yet, he may find “Goodness” a nice warm up to Sorkin’s politically charged script.

A Husband’s Moment of Realization
A woman’s husband had been slipping in and out of a coma for several months, yet she stayed by his bedside every single day. When he came to, he motioned for her to come nearer.
As she sat by him, he said, “You know what? You have been with me all through the bad times. When I got fired, you were there to support me. When my business failed, you were there. When I got shot, you were by my side. When we lost the house, you gave me support. When my health started failing, you were still by my side… You know what?”
“What dear?” She asked gently.
“I think you bring me bad luck.”

Man, I Feel Like A Woman
I’m sitting on this plane, eating my dinner, when all of a sudden the captain comes on the loudspeaker and tells us that the plane is about to crash land into the mountains. The next thing I know this woman from the front of the plane jumps up from her seat and starts screaming like a lunatic.
“I can’t die today! I WON’T die today! I am twenty-seven years old! I have been on countless dates and no one has ever made me feel like a woman! Please, I don’t want to die like this! Is there anyone on this airplane that can make me feel like a woman?”
The entire plane went from hysteria to complete silence. Then, from the back of the plane, someone stood up. He was a dark, tall, well-built, handsome man.
“I can make you feel like a woman,” was his reply.
He started walking slowly down the isle to the woman, who was now shaking with anticipation. One by one he started unbuttoning his shirt buttons, revealing his rippling stomach muscles. He quickly took his shirt off, slowly reached for her trembling hand, looked in her eyes and said…
“Iron this!”
